Import leads from a CSV file

Upload a spreadsheet, map its columns and skip duplicates.

Updated 20 October 2026

Export your list from Google Sheets, Excel or another tool as a .csv file. Only an email column is required; first name, last name, company, job title, website and LinkedIn are optional but make personalisation better.

  1. Open Leads and click Import CSV.
  2. Upload: drop the file on the box, or click to browse.
  3. Map columns: for each Outly field (First Name, Last Name, Company, Job Title, Email, Website, LinkedIn) pick the matching column in your file. Columns with matching names are mapped for you. Email is required.
  4. Click Validate. Outly counts total rows, valid rows, invalid rows (missing or malformed emails) and duplicates inside the file.
  5. Click Import N leads. Addresses already in this workspace are skipped, matched by email, and the summary tells you how many.
  6. Click Go to leads to see them.

Tip

Importing does not check that an address really exists. Verify the list before you launch a campaign. See Verify email addresses.

Your plan sets how many leads a workspace holds: 250 on Free, 5,000 on Pro and 25,000 on Team. Billing shows how many you have used.
