Sending pace and the business-hours window

How Outly spreads a day's emails across your sending window.

Updated 20 October 2026

Each campaign has a schedule: a Timezone, Sending days and a Start time and End time. The default is Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:00, India time. Nothing sends outside that window.

Inside the window, Outly doesn't send the whole day's allowance at once. The allowance grows evenly from the start of the window to the end, so a 9-to-5 window with a limit of 40 sends roughly 5 an hour rather than 40 at 9 a.m. Sends are also spaced a second or two apart, so several campaigns sharing an inbox don't burst together.

  1. Set the window when you create the campaign, in the Schedule step.
  2. Use the lead's timezone, not yours, when your list is mostly in one region.
  3. Leave Randomize send delays on. Follow-ups then go out at slightly different times instead of exactly N days later.

Good to know

The Daily sending limit field in the Schedule step is saved with the campaign, but today the limit that actually caps sending is the inbox's own daily limit on Accounts, after warm-up and health checks. Set the number there.

Tip

If a campaign shows nothing sent, check the window first. A campaign launched on Saturday with weekday sending days waits until Monday.
